BGE Quebec
BGE (Boissons Gazeuses Environnement) is a non-profit organization created by the Quebec soft drink industry to administer the deposit system of single-use soft drink containers as per an agreement with the Minister of environment and Recyc-Quebec.
It’s role:
• Manage the deposit/refund system as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
• Develop awareness and infrastructures programs to maximize the recovery and recycling of consigned containers.
• Ensure that members and industry stakeholders apply the Agreement and regulation properly.
BGE is also known as Consignaction.
